Les mamelons ombiliqu\u00e9s sont une malformation courante qui est une source de complexe et de g\u00eane lors de l\u2019allaitement ou durant les actes sexuels. Selon des \u00e9tudes scientifiques au moins 10% des femmes fran\u00e7aises sont touch\u00e9es par cette pathologie inesth\u00e9tique et non-fonctionnelle.<\/p>\n

Mamelons ombiliqu\u00e9s : D\u00e9finition<\/strong><\/h2>\n

C\u2019est une malformation des mamelons qui est souvent d\u2019origine cong\u00e9nitale qui les rendent invagin\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

La cause est la r\u00e9traction du mamelon par les canaux galactophores \u00e0 travers lesquels s\u2019\u00e9coulent les s\u00e9cr\u00e9tions mammaires lors de l\u2019allaitement, de ce fait, ceux-ci attirent le mamelon vers l\u2019int\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n

Les diff\u00e9rents stades des mamelons ombiliqu\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Il existe trois types de gravit\u00e9 des mamelons\u00a0:<\/p>\n

1\/Les mamelons ombiliqu\u00e9s sont invers\u00e9s au repos en devenant projet\u00e9s par le froid.<\/p>\n

2\/Les mamelons sont invers\u00e9s au repos avec la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatre ext\u00e9rioris\u00e9s par le toucher.<\/p>\n

3\/Les mamelons sont ombiliqu\u00e9e et ne sortent jamais.<\/p>\n

Le traitement des mamelons invagin\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Dans les deux premiers stades cit\u00e9s ci-dessus, le mamelon pourrait ressortir par une simple traction manuelle comme lors de l\u2019allaitement par exemple.<\/p>\n

En revanche, dans le dernier stade, le traitement des mamelons invagin\u00e9s devient chirurgical, car la cause principale de leur ombilication est la r\u00e9traction des canaux galactophores.<\/p>\n

Le traitement chirurgical des mamelons ombiliqu\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Le traitement est diff\u00e9rent d\u2019une femme \u00e0 une autre.<\/p>\n

Chez la femme fertile, le chirurgien pratique la section de canaux galactophores afin de permettre leur recanalisation.<\/p>\n

Par contre, chez la femme m\u00e9nopaus\u00e9e ou qui ne d\u00e9sire pas allaiter, le praticien rajoute l\u2019interposition entre la glande mammaire et le mamelon de 2 lambeaux pr\u00e9lev\u00e9s de l\u2019ar\u00e9ole afin de rendre le r\u00e9sultat d\u00e9finitif.<\/p>\n

Les suites op\u00e9ratoires<\/strong><\/h2>\n

-Les cicatrices sont tr\u00e8s discr\u00e8tes et quasiment invisibles, situ\u00e9es \u00e0 la base du mamelon ou au milieu de l\u2019ar\u00e9ole.<\/p>\n

-Les fils r\u00e9sorbables tombent tous seuls 15 jours apr\u00e8s l\u2019intervention.<\/p>\n

-Les douleurs sont soulag\u00e9es gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des antalgiques.<\/p>\n

-Il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable d\u2019attendre 3 ans pour tomber enceinte le temps que le mamelon r\u00e9cup\u00e8re ses capacit\u00e9s d\u2019allaitement.<\/p>\n

Le r\u00e9sultat d\u00e9finitif n\u2019est visible qu\u2019apr\u00e8s 1 mois de l\u2019intervention.<\/p>\n
